product review: pretty nails instant polish remover

When I went home for Christmas break, I didn't bring any nail polish remover with me. So I decided to buy some. I was looking for a small bottle, since I just wanted it for the month that I was at home. I ended up buying pretty nails instant polish remover. The "instant" part intrigued me. ;)

The container holds a sponge, which is soaked in nail polish remover. You stick your finger into the sponge, and twist it around a bit to get all the polish off.

I first used it to remove some glitter polish, which is notorious for being difficult to remove. At first, I was annoyed because the polish was not coming off instantly as advertised and I wasn't sure if I was doing everything right. However, the glitter was removed a lot quicker than with normal polish remover.

The next time I used it, I was much more happy with the results. My polish came off super quickly! I figured out that the best way to use this polish remover is to put a finger in and twist it, then use a tissue to dry the finger and to wipe off any remaining bits of polish.

I really like this type of polish remover. Even though it takes more time to remove glitter polish, this type of remover is still way more efficient and easy to use than regular liquid polish remover. I can't remember the exact price of this bottle, but it wasn't more than two or three dollars. I would definitely recommend pretty nails instant polish remover.

I was not paid to write this review, nor am I affiliated in any way with this product or the company that produces it.

18 before 19

I made this pretty picture thing and I'm like seriously SUPER proud of it. Yup. Like junping-up-and-down-and-bouncing-off-the-walls-proud. Don't laugh at me.

I first read about this kind of list on Delightfully Tacky (which is an amazing blog!) and loved the idea. I always wanted to write one, but never found the time. Thanks to my lovely Christmas break, I found some time! Yayy. So here's my 18 before 19 list. I've got until my birthday, October 4th, to accomplish these things. Wish me luck. ;)

1. Do something creative every week. (It's easy to get all caught up in schoolwork and life and never do something creative)
2. Exercise for 20 minutes at least 2 times a week. (Preferably 3 or 4 times)
3. Paint my fingernails once a month. (I love painting my nails but last semester I barely ever did)
4. Go to bed by 12:30 on week nights.
5. Make a butterfly. (Haha, this one needs some explanation...check out this website: http://www.hmh.org/ed_butterfly1.shtml)
6. Go to a Renaissance Faire (sounds like so much fun and awesomeness)
7. Write a fan letter to Natalie Portman (she's one of my favorite actresses)
8. Draw a self portrait (I did one a looooong time ago, but it was terrible...)
9. Make a ray gun (of steampunky epicness)
10. Write regular blog posts
11. Work on homework during the afternoon so that evenings are free. (Next semester I have a lot of freetime in the afternoons that'll be perfect for working on homework)
12. Make a vlog.
13. Learn to play Don't Stop Believin' on the piano. (Just because I can. And it's an awesome song)
14. Write movie review blog posts.
15. Raise my GPA (Not because my GPA last semester was bad or anything, but because there's always room for improvement)
16. Drink at least 64 ounces of water. (half your weight in ounces = healthy amount of water to drink each day)
17. Make a budget.
18. Improve my photography/take more pictures.

What do you all think? Can I do all this before October? ;)

I can't stop listening to....

I Think I Love You by David Cassidy. My mom introduced me to this song last year, and I was obsessed with it for quite a while...now I've rediscovered it. :)
